I used to try to play peacemaker between my sisters--who frequently went at it--when it started to escalate to an uncomfortable place I would step in--wrong move every time-- they were already angry and needed to vent, so one or both would turn on me--saying to butt out or worse.
best to leave them duke it out and act invisible while they do. if they try to draw you in --say "I am neutral for the moment--we'll discuss later when heads are calm"
Ah, I can relate to what Chedwick is saying, as a middle sister myself. I am definitely the peacekeeper.
Sometimes, it's okay to stay home. Man, I went to bed at, like, 9:30 last night. Maybe that's not okay.

As you know, I love to travel and stay up late doing a show, but what I really love sometimes is a few days off to just cook a little gourmet meal, watch Tv or read or meditate--and get some extra hours of sleep. Nice!
