Is stuff really necessary?

I'd really like to buy myself some slippers, pyama's, underwear and this:

I know, it's just a trashcan. But I've been eyeing one of these for quite some time now and I think I'll be buying one for myself this Christmas. The trash-can I use now was my mom's and it's really a sight for non-sore eyes. And enough's enough. The day that I finish my thesis for real I'm gonna order this! It won't be long!

OK I totally bought this trashcan and I know it's main flaw-- it is difficult to clean. The outer shell is a sleeve, the inner can holds the trash. If you use 1 plastic trashbag, the bag becomes bottom heavy and pulling it out of the can becomes a stressful chore. If you just throw trash in randomly, it is hard to clean. If you use paper trash bags, they stick in the bottom.
Also, lets look at the foot pedal. It isn't as wonderful as you think. Can you pat your head while rubbing your tummy in a circular motion? if so you can handle the foot pedal while dumping trash.

Oh, and removing the outer sleeve isn't a lot of fun either.

I spelled /its\ wrong. I paid er, about 24 euro for this can--it is sitting in the garage--empty. it has been there for a year.

You did?

Say what? I thought it was flawless... but maybe if you paid 24 euros it was a counterfeit trashcan? Or was it a typo?

But, I really do take your word for it if it is indeed the same one. It sucks.

Thanks Peggy! But all the glory goes to Misty. She's a whizzlady!
